Paper timesheets and a complex system for payroll involving an overseas office verifying figures was creating many hours of extra work for the ChemCentral Group. It had multiple pharmacy sites and hundreds of employees that supervisors were responsible for tracking to record hours and award rates through time-consuming paperwork.
Wageloch introduced a streamlined workforce management system for employees to record start and finish times via fingerprint scanning at the Pharmacy and phone apps. As part of the configuration, a new centralised system was developed. This included tailored award rates, employee qualifications, pharmacist certificates, visas and police clearances to be recorded centrally for its 13 pharmacies and about 384 employees across the state.
