“When I joined this organisation, all payroll was an extremely manual process, and in hindsight, I realise that there must have been a lot of failings in not paying employees according to the award rates. Our payroll process took area managers a couple of hours and then they forwarded clock cards to payroll who had to manually capture and then check all the hours before loading a pay. Now that we have WageLoch, I have managed to streamline a couple of processes; one is rostering of our tutors and checking all their hours, and two: I no longer spend all days working out the pays. I have gained about 6 hours in my day for other things.
Also, when I need a change done to accommodate any award quirks, it is dealt with immediately or within a reasonable time. The staff have extensive knowledge about how to rectify these little problems.”
